Welcome my friends, I am Shannon VanWagner. As a GNU/Linux enthusiast and supporter, I am proud to serve the forces of freedom in technology. I am no billionaire, I am no political leader, I am no famous person, but I do know that it only takes one(as in each) of us, to make a great big difference for technology. Wouldn't you like to make a difference too? I seek to do my part, and bring the idea and power of technology to humans with GNU/Linux. While profit can be made from spreading technology, profit should not restrict the ability of humans to advance with technology.
Since learning about their generosity and willingness to enable humans with technology, I have become fascinated with some of the true leaders of technology for humans of our time. These heroes include Linus Torvalds, Richard Stallman, Ian Murdock, Gaël Duval, Mark Shuttleworth, and many, many more unnamed heroes that have contributed their time and effort to the enablement of humankind with technology. These technical masters will be forever remembered for the selfless commitment to the future of humankind that is enabled with Technology.
